Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our Alloy Casting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various casting processes, metallurgy, and quality assurance, especially in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end alloy casting operations – planning, production, quality, and delivery.

• Expertise in gravity, sand, shell, investment, or die casting of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.

• Optimize melting practices using Induction, Cupola, or Electric Arc Furnaces.

• Drive metallurgical excellence in aluminum, steel, bronze, and other complex alloy castings.

• Ensure compliance with international quality standards (ISO, IATF, ASTM).

• Lead cost-reduction initiatives, yield improvement, and process automation.

• Develop and mentor a team of engineers and operators in casting best practices.

• Liaise with R&D, machining, design, and quality teams for defect-free product output.

• Implement TPM, Lean, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies on the shop floor.

• Manage foundry audits, safety, and environmental standards compliance.

Key Skills:

• Expertise in foundry metallurgy and alloy development

• Hands-on in casting simulation software (e.g., MAGMA, ProCAST)

• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities

• Excellent knowledge of casting defects and corrective actions

• Exposure to automotive or aerospace casting standards

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering
