Data Modeling: Design and develop logical, physical, and conceptual data models that meet business requirements, support reporting, and ensure the integrity of data.

Database Design: Collaborate with database administrators and developers to design optimal database structures, including tables, relationships, indexes, and stored procedures.

Data Integration: Work with data engineers to integrate data from various sources, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and accessibility in the data models.

Collaboration with Business Teams: Communicate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, translating those requirements into detailed data models that align with business objectives.

Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data models for performance, scalability, and data integrity.

Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data models, definitions, and business logic to ensure consistency and ease of understanding across the organization.

Data Governance: Ensure adherence to data governance policies, data quality standards, and industry best practices.

Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support for data-related issues, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and resolve challenges as they arise.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in data modeling, database design, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with database tools such as SQL, Erwin, Microsoft Visio, or other data modeling software.

Skills:
- Strong proficiency in database design and data modeling principles.
- Knowledge of SQL and other query languages.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and business teams.

Certifications (Optional): Certifications related to data management or data modeling, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), are a plus.
