Functional responsibility:

a.           The candidate would be responsible for administration, configuration and management of CUSTOMER’s servers e.g. Windows 2000/ NT/ Exchange2013/ SQL/ IIS/ MS Server2012/, XPetc. The candidate would be responsible for orderly system start up and shut down of all the servers. Resolving server operations problems, creating/ modifying/ deleting users groups/ access rights and privileges on server. Installing server upgrade patches and when provided by CUSTOMER or respective vendor. Performance tuning and capacity planning of the servers and ensuring confidentiality of the data. Taking back up of the data and ensuing secure storage and handling media to prevent data loss. The candidate would also be responsible for deployment and updation of antivirus tools on all the servers and desktops. The candidate would also administer and monitor the e-mail servers and e-mail usage by various users on LAN.
