Job Description

Location: Preferably Hyd but any location works.

 

Need associates who have support experience and ready to work in 24/7 shift

 

1. Customer Issue Resolution

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customer-reported issues on Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Cosmos DB.
  • Analyse and resolve data ingestion, transformation, and query performance issues using SQL, PySpark, and Azure-native tools.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions, workarounds, or guidance aligned with Microsoft support standards.

2. Root Cause Analysis & Preventive Actions

  • Perform deep-dive investigations into recurring or complex issues.
  • Use telemetry, logs, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes.
  • Recommend and implement preventive measures to reduce future incidents.

3. Service Health Monitoring & Optimization

  • Monitor health and performance of data pipelines and analytics workloads.
  • Optimize resource usage and query performance in Synapse and Databricks.
  • Ensure data flows are resilient, scalable, and cost-effective.

4. Secure Data Architecture Support

  • Assist customers in implementing and troubleshooting secure data lake architectures using Azure Storage Gen2.
  • Ensure compliance with data security policies, encryption standards, and access controls.

5. Integration & Connectivity Troubleshooting

  • Resolve issues related to data movement between services like Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Power BI.
  • Support hybrid and multi-cloud data integration scenarios.

6. Power BI Support

  • Assist with data model issues, refresh failures, and performance bottlenecks in Power BI reports.
  • Guide customers on best practices for data visualization and report optimization.

7. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases and public-facing support articles.

8. Collaboration & Escalation Management

  • Collaborate with product engineering teams for bug fixes and feature requests.
  • Escalate critical issues appropriately while maintaining customer communication and expectations.

9. Customer Communication & Satisfaction

  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers, ensuring technical concepts are understood.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive support and solution delivery.

MUST- HAVE:

 

Experience with Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
Data engineering proficiency: SQL, PySpark, Power BI, data ingestion & transformation.
Hands-on with Cosmos DB, Azure Storage Gen2, and secure data lake architecture.

 

NICE-HAVE:

 

Proven experience with cloud deployment and development tools (i.e. PowerShell, CLI, REST API, Visual Studio, .NET, SDK, JSON, ARM/Bicep templates).
