Business Analyst
Future duties and responsibilities
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders, product owners, and end users.
- Translate business needs into clear, detailed, and actionable Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, or User Stories.
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and success criteria aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure requirements are well-understood and implemented correctly.
- Create and maintain process flow diagrams, use case documents, and wireframes as needed.
- Support sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions in Agile environments.
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), ensuring business expectations are met and defects are logged with clarity.
- Analyze existing systems and propose process improvements or automation opportunities.
- Assist in defining and tracking KPIs or metrics that measure solution effectiveness.
- Maintain clear documentation and traceability from requirements through testing and release.
- Support stakeholder communication and change management during product rollouts.

- Work closely with QA teams to validate test coverage against business requirements.
Desired qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or product-based environments.
- Experience in requirements elicitation, process modeling, and functional documentation.
- Working knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io).
- Exposure to API documentation, Postman, or Swagger for understanding data exchanges.
- Ability to create user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain a product backlog.
- Familiarity with UI/UX wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, or Adobe XD) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Exposure to SQL or basic data querying preferred.
