Disaster Recovery Manager (NCS/Job/ 4022)

• Knowledge of IT DR processes and RPO and RTO strategies
• Experience in Testing DR environment for datacentre failover and failback Drill execution co-ordination, incident / issues tracking during drills.
• Align automation to meet the defined RTO/RPO by the management committee on the best effort basis
• Knowledge of current best practices and technologies and their DR applications
• Domain knowledge of managing DR Operations for reputed organization/Financial Institutes.
• Minimum 10+ Years experience in relevant role.
• Preparing IT DR Plan testing schedule and oversee the coordination of testing processes and resources also ensure the IT DR Plan is being followed up for mentioned RPO/RTO.
• Coordinating and Root Cause Analysis for all DR Incident during recovery exercises.
• Act as Process Owner for DR operations and governance.
• Should have good understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (AZURE , AWS , Hybrid)
• Work closely with Application, Network and Infrastructure teams to ensure successful execution of DR drills.
• Manage all escalations, RCA preparation, and corrective actions. Coordinate with OEM product teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain and track DR operational metrics, DR dashboards, and project deliverables.
• Own DR strategy creation and DR plan development across infra stacks.
• Approve DR drill scope and calendar; ensure communication between teams.
• Lead regulatory & compliance reporting.
• Stakeholder management across cross‑functional teams.
• Structured problem‑solving approach and analytical thinking.

• Ensure alignment with RBI guidelines, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, audit & compliance frameworks.
• Lead DR restoration efforts during crisis events.
• Strong understanding of data centre infra, replication, backups, DR lifecycle.
• Hands‑on experience with DR and backup technologies.
• Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage high‑pressure crisis situations.
• Knowledge of regulatory DR compliance (RBI / ISO standards).
• Good understanding of core banking, digital channels, and payment systems infra.
• reate, refine, and maintain SOPs for recurring DR issues.
• Configure event thresholds and remediate repeat issues through automation use cases.
• Manage VA/CA for KRO tickets and support DR drift resolution for applications.
• Perform DR calendar planning, runbook review, and readiness validation.
• Onboard new applications into DR and collaborate with app & infra teams.
• Track DR readiness gaps and document lessons learned.
• Monitor the DR environment and handle real‑time events.
• Analyse and resolve critical/major incidents within the shift window.
• Execute automation workflows and dry‑run reports.
• Orchestrate planned and unplanned DR drills.
• Follow SOPs, log issues, and update observations for process refinement.
