Job Description – Lead Delivery Manager (Supply Chain)

Ecolab is looking for an experienced Sr. SAP Delivery Manager with 15+ years of SAP delivery leadership in Supply Chain/Logistics to lead medium-to-large scale transformation programs. This role is accountable for end-to-end delivery and solution oversight across global supply chain capabilities, ensuring SAP solutions align to business objectives, meet quality and compliance expectations, and deliver against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

What’s in it For You:

•                          The opportunity to take on some of the world’s most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, and healthy environments

•                          The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth

•                          The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best

What You Will Do:

•                          Lead large, medium, and small-scale supply chain transformation initiatives, providing solution oversight from discovery through hypercare. • Spearhead end-to-end delivery of complex SAP Supply Chain solutions, including scope definition, integrated planning, execution governance, and release readiness.

•                           Ensure SAP modules including MM, WM, LE, PP, and QM align with global business objectives, global template standards, and strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

•                          Manage and mentor functional consultants and delivery teams to optimize logistics, procurement, warehousing, and demand/supply planning workflows.

•                          Partner with business and IT stakeholders as a strategic advisor to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the global supply chain and supporting SAP landscape.

•                          Own delivery governance including RAID management, change control, quality gates, and stakeholder reporting to ensure predictable outcomes across geographies.

•                           Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement using project/program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAP Activate, Waterfall) and standard delivery metrics.

• Coordinate cross-functional requirements and dependencies across SAP modules and adjacent systems to ensure end-to-end process integrity (plan-to-produce, procure-to-pay, inventory/warehouse, and logistics execution). • Materials Management (MM) / Procurement

• Warehouse Management (WM) / Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

• Logistics Execution (LE) / Transportation & Shipping

• Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM)

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource plans; proactively address capacity constraints, vendor performance, and delivery risks.

• Provide executive-level communication through steering committees and delivery reviews; clearly articulate trade-offs, decisions, risks, and mitigation plans.

• Translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans and integrated workstreams, ensuring functional designs, build, testing, and cutover activities meet intended outcomes.

• Lead and coach teams on delivery standards, documentation, and best practices; foster collaboration across functional, technical, testing, and change management teams.

• Establish and continuously improve delivery playbooks, templates, and KPIs to increase predictability, quality, and value realization across supply chain programs.

• Ensure delivery excellence through strong traceability (requirements-to-design-to-build-to-test), UAT leadership, cutover readiness, and post-go-live support to meet agreed SLAs.

Minimum Qualification

• 15+ years of SAP delivery experience, specifically in Supply Chain/Logistics, leading global implementations, rollouts, and transformation programs (ECC and/or S/4HANA).

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, or related discipline

• Demonstrated leadership in end-to-end delivery for SAP Supply Chain solutions (MM, WM, LE, PP, QM), including scope, schedule, quality, risk, and SLA management.

• Proven track record in project budgeting, financial governance, and resource management, including vendor/partner coordination.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and managing cross-functional, global teams.

• S/4HANA experience in supply chain domains (fit-to-standard workshops, global template/process harmonization, migration, and rollout support).

• Experience directly within a large ERP systems footprint in a global, multinational environment.

• Deep hands-on SAP Supply Chain experience across MM, WM/LE, PP, and QM, including leading fit-gap/design decisions and guiding teams through build/test/cutover activities.

• Proven ability to understand business needs, build strategic partnerships, and translate them into clear requirements, process designs, and implemented solutions.

• Experience driving integrations across supply chain systems (e.g., IDocs/APIs/EDI), including interface governance and end-to-end validation.

• Experience managing relationships with 3rd party vendors and teams.

• Able to successfully manage core responsibilities independently or with limited over-sight

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organization skills

• Ability to maintain critical thinking while balancing multiple tasks

• Ability to work well within a team, focusing on building relationships with all project stakeholders.

• Proven ability of learning new skills, technologies, and passionate about conveying knowledge
