Network Fulfilment Engineer- Core (NCS/Job/ 2741)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Fulfilment Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Network Design team to interpret business requirements and translate high-level and low-level designs into actionable deployment plans. You will be responsible for preparing detailed Methods of Procedure (MoPs) for the implementation of core network capacity expansions, migrations, and the rollout of new services and projects. These deployments will be executed during out-of-business hours to ensure minimal disruption. Prior to production rollout, you will rigorously test procedures in a lab environment to guarantee smooth and incident-free implementation. During project rollouts, a close working relationship with project management team is required. A strong understanding of both hardware and software is essential, as you will provide expert consultation on feature availability and performance in collaboration with test engineers, design engineers, and vendors. Additionally, you will support and train up fellow team members where necessary.

Skills Required

• Strong experience with service provider technologies, understanding Core IP backbone, CDN, Peering and Transit (P&T)
• Strong experience in ISIS, MPLS, BGP, QOS, Segment routing, EPE (egress peer engineering), EVPN, Telemetry
• Good experience with IOS-XR based platforms such as Cisco NCS/ASR routers (configuration, management & OS upgrade)
• Great communication skills (both written and verbal) to convey risks, acquire sign-off, timely call out issues to management, and send weekly project updates.
• Knowledge of Python, GIT for leading configuration templates, JINJA, NETCONF, YANG models is desirable
