Role Overview

We are seeking an Oracle Technical Analyst to review our Oracle iStore e-commerce platform. The sole focus of this role is to read, analyze, and reverse-engineer existing custom code related to our shipping calculations and payment processing. You will not be writing or modifying code; instead, your expertise will be used to translate complex technical logic into clear process diagrams and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Code Analysis:
  Review and thoroughly understand existing custom PL/SQL packages, Java/JSP components, and Oracle Workflows within the iStore environment.
• Process Mapping:
  Translate back-end shipping logic, carrier calculations, and payment gateway integration steps into comprehensive, step-by-step process diagrams.
• Functional Discovery:
  Document how standard Oracle EBS modules (Order Management, Shipping Execution, and Accounts Receivable) interact with our custom checkout code.

Core Qualifications

• Oracle iStore EBS Literacy:
  Deep technical understanding of Oracle iStore architecture and its underlying data flows.
• Strong Code Legibility:
  Advanced ability to read and reverse-engineer PL/SQL, SQL, Java, and JSP.
• EBS Module Expertise:
  Familiarity with the standard processes of Oracle Order Management (OM) and Oracle Shipping to identify where customizations diverge from standard functionality.
• Analytical Documentation:
  Proven experience translating complex technical logic into business process maps, flowcharts, or functional specifications.
