PowerBI Architect (NCS/Job/ 2749)

• Power BI Development - Design, develop, and enhance Some Power BI dashboards which should be bench mark to Citizen developers.
• Build visually engaging and interactive dashboards aligned with business needs.
• Optimize existing reports for performance, usability, and scalability.
• Create CoE Governance framework documents including best practices, Developer Guide, Migration guide etc Open to work on Migration activities from tableau to Power BI Experience in implementing
• Copilot/Conversational Analytics related to Gen AI capabilities Data Modelling & ETL Develop semantic data models with proper relationships, hierarchies, and DAX measures.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple data sources. Platform Management
• Assist in managing Power BI workspaces, dataflows, and permissions.
• Support gateway configuration, refresh schedules, and environment governance.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards, models, and platform processes.
• Enable connectivity through Okta/OAuth to some of the source systems like Snowflake Stakeholder Collaboration
• If required Partner with business teams to gather reporting and visualization requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Provide recommendations for improving reporting quality and data usage. Issue Resolution & Optimization
• Troubleshoot data refresh issues, performance bottlenecks, and DAX errors.
• Ensure reliability, stability, and performance of the Power BI environment.
• Identify enhancement opportunities and propose long-term BI improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, data modelling, and Power Query (M Language).
• Experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, apps, dataflows, gateways).
• Solid SQL knowledge with experience in relational databases.
• Strong communication skills to work with business and IT teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience as a consultant or working with external partners is preferred.
