Director of Software delivery

Exp- 15 to 20 yrs

Work mode- WFO 5 days

Responsibilities:

 

  • Global Delivery Ownership: Oversee and manage all customer deliveries across Zapcom’s global footprint, ensuring high-quality execution, customer satisfaction, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing software delivery organization, ensuring effective project execution, risk mitigation, and team development.
  • Customer Engagement & Success: Act as the primary point of contact for key customer stakeholders, fostering strong relationships, understanding business needs, and ensuring successful delivery outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive best practices in delivery governance, agile methodologies, quality assurance, and project management to maximize efficiency and minimize risks.
  • Strategic Growth: Work closely with executive leadership to align delivery strategies with business growth, customer expansion, and market trends.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with customers, product management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure smooth execution and seamless customer experience.
  • Metrics & Performance Management: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project health, team efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine delivery frameworks, tools, and methodologies to improve operational effectiveness and scalability.

 

Requirement:

 

  • 15+ years of experience in software delivery, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing large-scale IT projects.
  • Proven track record in IT consulting or services organizations, managing customer deliveries across geographies.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and scale high-performing teams.
  • Strong customer engagement skills, with experience handling senior stakeholders, resolving escalations, and driving customer success.
  • Expertise in budget management, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and global clients.
