Magento 2 Full Stack Developer - Software Engineer
Position Summary:
As a Magento Platform full stack Developer, you will develop web applications in Magento 2
Enterprise/Community platform. You will work with a dedicated business, offshore development
team and follow a Scrum process to develop e-commerce websites for Brady corporation and
various other brands owned by the company.
Project Description:
As a Member of the eCommerce development team you’ll work on our global web platform built
on Magento 2 Enterprise/Community. This platform is the home for multiple websites for our
global businesses including both informational and eCommerce solutions. You’ll strive to
continuously improve the platform and achieve our goals of a best-in-class web platform that:
● Meets the needs of multiple business with different go-to-market strategies
● Gives the business teams control over their sites without IT intervention
● Supports global businesses with multi-language support
● Promotes sharing of content between businesses
You’ll help to create new site features to improve the user experience while also taking
ownership for the technical quality of each feature delivered.
Responsibilities
● Work with fellow eCommerce Developers to create and enhance existing websites
using the Magento 2 enterprise/Community platform.
● Responsible for both front-end and back-end magento development.
● Follow Scrum process and participate in all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups,
retrospectives, planning, etc)
● Work closely with the Product Owner and fellow team members to discuss the
requirements, come up with the solution and implement.
● Should propose the best practices, necessary tools, technology, etc.
● Test websites
● Should be flexible enough to learn new technologies and implement them as required.
Minimum Qualifications
● 6-10 years of experience of developing websites
● 6+ years of experience developing websites using Magento 2
Enterprise/Community
● BE/MCA/B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Computer Science or related field
● Knowledge of writing web applications using Magento 2 Enterprise/Community
platform and PHP
● Minimum working experience of 6+ years on Magento 2.
● Experience working on Magento 2.
● Experience working on Knockout JS, HTML5, JS, CSS3, JQuery or similar front end
technologies.
● Experience in database concepts through tools like MYSQL, MongodB etc.
● Experience with Magento 2 Module Development, Magento 2 Theme Integration,
Customization, Extension Development and other open source projects.
● Ability to contribute independently.
● Basic knowledge of API integration with Magento 2
Desired Skills
● Knowledge of Linux server, Apache/ Nginx and PHP configuration.
● Knowledge of AWS configuration.
● Knowledge of Git, Jira, AWS/Azure etc.
