Job Title: Mobile Automation Lead 

 

Role Purpose:

We are looking for a seasoned Mobile Automation Lead with 6-9 years of experience to spearhead our mobile automation testing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge automation frameworks and strategies. This role requires a strong command of Core Java, Selenium, Appium, BDD-Cucumber, and other tools to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications. The Mobile Automation Lead will mentor a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation testing into our continuous integration and delivery (CICD) processes.

 

Experience:

- 6-9 years of experience in mobile automation testing.

- Extensive experience with Core Java, Selenium, and Appium.

- Proficiency in using BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

- Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing.

- Experience with RestAssured for API testing.

- Familiarity with Docker and CICD pipelines for automated testing.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and execution of automated test strategies for mobile applications.

- Design and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks using Selenium, Appium, and BDD-Cucumber.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and integration into CICD pipelines.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.

- Mentor and guide a team of automation engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile automation testing and implement them as appropriate.

- Ensure comprehensive documentation of automation frameworks and processes.

 

Must Have:

- 6-9 years of experience in mobile automation testing.

- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Selenium, Appium, and BDD-Cucumber.

- Experience with SQL for database testing and RestAssured for API testing.

- Expertise in Docker and CICD tools for automated testing.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience with performance and security testing for mobile applications.

- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and services.

- Relevant certifications in software testing or automation.

- Experience in leading large-scale automation projects and teams.
