Profile summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce professional to lead the administration, configuration, and custom development of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex Salesforce environments and a proven ability to build robust, scalable applications using both declarative and programmatic tools. This role requires an individual who can balance day-to-day administration with strategic enhancements, ensuring the platform continues to meet and exceed evolving business needs.
Key responsibilities
Salesforce administration
· Serve as the lead administrator for a multi-cloud Salesforce environment, primarily focused on Sales , Service Clouds and Experience.
· Manage all aspects of user administration, including profiles, roles, permission sets, public groups, and sharing settings.
· Maintain the system's operational health, data integrity, and overall security.
· Oversee data management, including data imports, exports, validation, de-duplication, and ensuring overall data quality.
· Provide advanced user support, troubleshoot complex issues, and serve as the subject matter expert for the platform.
Application development and configuration
· Design, build, and deploy high-quality, scalable solutions using Salesforce's declarative capabilities, including Flow, Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, and custom metadata types.
· Develop custom applications and functionality using programmatic tools like Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), to address complex business requirements.
· Manage and govern a multi-environment Salesforce setup, including sandbox strategy, data refreshes, and release management.
· Implement and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs (REST, SOAP), middleware, or integration platforms like Mulesoft.
· Customize and enhance the Lightning Experience UI to improve user adoption and productivity.
Governance, support, and strategy
· Establish and enforce Salesforce governance standards, including naming conventions, change control, and version tracking.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all processes, configurations, and custom developments.
· Monitor platform metrics and proactively identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvements.
· Stay current with Salesforce releases and new features, assessing and recommending how to leverage new capabilities.
Required skills and qualifications
· Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator and App Builder in complex, multi-cloud environments.
· Certifications:
o Salesforce Certified Administrator (required).
o Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (strongly preferred).
o Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (strongly preferred).
o Salesforce Platform Developer I (a plus).
· Declarative expertise: Proven expertise in building declarative solutions using Flows, validation rules, assignment rules, and page layouts.
· Programmatic skills: Hands-on experience with Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce is highly desirable.
· Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and API integrations.
· Soft skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
· Deployment: Experience with release management and deployment tools (e.g., Change Sets, Gearset, or Copado)
· Availability: Must be available to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends to provide 24/7 coverage.
· Schedule: This position requires working a non-traditional shift schedule (e.g., graveyard or weekend shift) on a rotational basis.
