Job Description:
We are hiring SAP ABAP Consultants with expertise in either HR or Non-HR modules to join our team for a long-term deployment at a prestigious client location in Mumbai. Candidates must have hands-on experience in ABAP development, with the ability to independently design, develop, and maintain technical solutions in alignment with functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
- For HR roles: Develop and support applications related to Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Payroll, and Time Management using HR-specific ABAP techniques (PNP/PCH logical databases, HR Infotypes).
- For Non-HR roles: Work on modules such as MM, SD, FI, etc., using classical and object-oriented ABAP.
Required Skillsets:
- Proficiency in core ABAP components: Reports (Classical & Interactive), Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, BDC, BAPI, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements.
- Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP programming.
- For HR: Strong knowledge of SAP HR-specific development, including payroll schemas and Infotype handling.
- Experience with ALE/IDOC, interfaces, and data migration techniques.
- Good understanding of SAP architecture, debugging, and performance analysis.
Candidate Eligibility Checklist:
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in SAP ABAP.
- Qualification: M.C.A / B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology with a minimum 60% aggregate.
- Must be immediately available for deployment.
- Should be open to working onsite at the client location in Sewri, Mumbai, five days a week.
- Compensation will be attendance-based; any absence will result in a prorated deduction.
