Job Description

A Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (Demandware) Tech Lead is responsible for leading technical development and implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions for eCommerce platforms. Here’s a general job description:

Responsibilities

· Architect, design, and develop scalable solutions using Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

· Lead backend development efforts, including SFRA and Headless Commerce implementations.

· Oversee code quality, performance optimization, and security best practices.

· Manage third-party integrations (payment gateways, OMS, CRM, analytics).

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend engineers, solution architects, product managers).

· Define and enforce coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in complex multi-site environments.

· Mentor and guide junior developers.

Requirements

· 5+ years of experience in Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development.

· Expertise in SFRA, OCAPI, SCAPI, and server-side scripting.

· Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ISML, Git, Jira, Confluence.

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps principles.

· Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification (required), Architect Certification (preferred).

· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
