*Position: Data Scientist (Voicebot/Conversational AI)*
Engagement Type: Remote C2C
Budget: 1.25 LPM + GST
3-4+ YOE
6 Month Contract

Position Overview:
Seeking a Data Scientist with around 3 years of experience in voicebots, conversational AI, or NLP to design
and optimize intelligent voice-based systems that understand users, predict intent, and improve customer
experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze large volumes of call-center/voice interaction data to extract insights and trends
• Build and improve voicebot models such as intent classifiers, speech-to-text post-processing models, and
dialog optimization models
• Develop NLP pipelines including text cleaning, tokenization, embeddings, entity extraction, and sentiment
analysis
• Evaluate and improve STT output using language models, acoustic/language tuning, or custom
post-processing
• Measure voicebot performance across intent accuracy, containment rate, FCR, sentiment, and user
friction points
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance dialog flows, NLU/NLP modules, and
voicebot logic
• Build dashboards and reports that communicate voicebot performance insights to stakeholders
• Conduct A/B tests on voicebot flows, prompts, and model changes
• Deploy and monitor ML/NLP models in production, ensuring reliability and scalability
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, AI, or related field
• Approximately 3 years of data science experience involving NLP, conversational AI, or voicebot systems
• Strong Python programming skills including pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, spaCy, NLTK, and transformers
• Experience working with ASR/STT systems such as Google Speech, Azure, or Amazon Transcribe
• Proficiency in SQL and large-scale data analysis
• Understanding of classification, clustering, embeddings, and sequence models
• Experience building or improving ML models in production environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred (Bonus) Skills:
• Experience with LLMs for intent detection, summarization, and agent assist
• Familiarity with voicebot platforms such as Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Rasa, OpenAI Assistants API, or
Kore.ai
• Experience tuning STT models or building custom vocabularies and language models
• Knowledge of big data tools such as Spark and MLOps tools like MLflow, Airflow, and Docker
• Experience in customer service, call centers, or IVR analytics
