Automation Engineer – Playwright (RARR Job 5805)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of UI automation, scripting, and end-to-end testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright

• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications

• Identify, document, and track bugs through the lifecycle

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams

• Ensure test coverage, reliability, and scalability of automation suites

• Optimize test execution and troubleshooting of flaky tests

• Contribute to test planning, strategy, and documentation

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)

• Experience in UI automation for web applications

• Solid understanding of testing principles, frameworks, and best practices

• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or Python

• Experience with API testing (Postman/REST clients)

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions

• Experience with test reporting tools and debugging
