Umbraco Developer (RARR Job 6308)

We are looking for a skilled Umbraco Developer (B3 level) with strong expertise in .NET and CMS-based web application development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance digital experience solutions using the Umbraco CMS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web applications using Umbraco CMS and .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC
• Create and manage content models, document types, templates, and workflows in Umbraco
• Develop custom components, APIs, and integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP)
• Implement multi-site and multilingual solutions within the CMS
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment lifecycle
• Collaborate with frontend developers for UI integration (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Support production issues and enhancements
• Work in Agile teams and contribute to sprint ceremonies

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong experience in Umbraco CMS development (v8/v9/v10+)
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC
• Experience in content modeling and data migration in CMS platforms
• Good understanding of REST APIs and integration patterns
• Frontend knowledge: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (basic working knowledge)
• Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL databases (SQL Server preferred)
• Version control: Git / Bitbucket
• Exposure to Azure or AWS environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)

Good to Have:

• Experience with headless CMS or JAMstack architecture
• Multi-tenant or enterprise CMS implementation experience
• SEO and performance optimization knowledge
• CMS migration experience (to/from Umbraco)
