Deployment Engineer - NMS (RARR Job 5782)

We are seeking a skilled Onsite Deployment Engineer for installation, configuration, integration, testing, and validation of NMS solutions at customer sites. This role involves working with virtualized and cloud-native architectures, microservices, networking technologies, and ensuring smooth deployment and troubleshooting. The role requires understanding of NMS/ITSM platforms, OS/Virtualization and preferably containerized environments.

Skills – Essential

• Hands-on experience with Linux OS deployment & configurations
• Install and configure Applications in virtualized (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Configuring IP networking on Virtual machines.
• Configuration mgmt. of network switches and routers will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SNMP based monitoring
• Understanding of IP networking, vlan, nw switching and basic routing
• Deploying and managing software solutions onsite at customer environment and requiring frequent travel.
• Hands-on experience with different kind of virtualizations
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for NMS deployments
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment

Education & Experience

Min. 1 Year of experience

3 yrs Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Engg, Information Technology, or related field.

Linux Certifications – RHCSA, RHCE, LFCS

Or Networking Certifications – CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS, SD-WAN certifications

Or

Cloud Certifications – AWS/Azure/GCP Certified Solutions Architect

Below are the additional preferred skills for an added advantage

• Awareness and understanding of Syslog, NetFlow, WMI, and other monitoring protocols
• Experience deploying NMS/ITSM/OSS solutions
• Experience in scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.), playbooks for automation.

                 Or CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.

 Familiarity with database management (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
