Java + Springboot + Struts Support (RARR Job 5808)

We are looking for a Java Developer with strong experience in Spring Boot and solid working knowledge of Struts for application support, maintenance, and enhancement. The role involves troubleshooting production issues, supporting legacy applications, and contributing to modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 application support for Java/Struts-based applications.

• Analyze, debug, and resolve production incidents within SLAs.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance modules using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

• Troubleshoot issues across application layers—UI, business logic, APIs, and databases.

• Perform code fixes, impact analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA).

• Work on enhancement requests, bug fixes, and system improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable system performance.

• Participate in deployment cycles, release management, and documentation.

• Support migration and modernization from Struts to Spring Boot (if applicable).

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in Core Java.

• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

• Good exposure to Struts framework (support, maintenance, debugging).

• Experience in working with SQL/Relational Databases (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL).

• Knowledge of version control tools (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle).

• Experience in working with application servers (Tomcat/WebLogic/JBoss).

• Good understanding of debugging, performance tuning, and production support workflows.

• Hands-on with log analysis tools (Kibana, Splunk, Grafana, etc.).

Good to Have:

• Experience with migration projects (Struts → Spring Boot).

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Exposure to Agile development and ITIL processes.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Ability to work on rotational support/on-call (if required).

• Proactive and responsible attitude toward incident resolution.
