Role Overview
This role sits at the core of Lesoko’s growth engine, bridging client requirements, cutting-edge drone solutions, and scalable analytics offerings.
You will work closely with the BD, operations, and product teams to design winning solutions across:

Solar asset inspections & lifecycle monitoring
-
Transmission & infrastructure surveys
-
Emerging use cases like autonomous “drone-in-a-box” deployments
Key Responsibilities
1. Solutioning for Drone-led Renewable Projects
-
Understand client needs (EPCs, IPPs, developers, utilities)
-
Design integrated solutions combining:
-
Drone surveys (thermal, RGB, LiDAR)
-
Analytics (fault detection, progress monitoring, digital twins)
-

Build use-case driven offerings (e.g., daily monitoring vs periodic inspections)
2. Proposal & Bid Management
-
Lead preparation of:
-
Technical proposals, RFQs/RFPs, tenders
-
Scope, methodology, execution workflows
-
BOQs and cost estimations aligned with operations
-

Ensure high-quality, differentiated submissions with a clear value narrative (speed, accuracy, cost efficiency)
3. Client Engagement & Technical Sales

Participate in client discussions as a technical consultant
-
Deliver impactful presentations and demos:
-
Drone workflows
-
Data outputs (orthomosaics, thermal reports, LiDAR models)
-
Platform capabilities (dashboards, analytics)
-

Support deal closures by addressing technical objections
4. Product & Innovation Feedback Loop

Work closely with internal teams to:

Shape new offerings (e.g., autonomous inspections, real-time monitoring)

Improve analytics outputs and reporting formats
-

Identify opportunities to standardize and scale solutions across geographies
5. Cross-functional Execution Alignment

Coordinate with:
-
Operations → ensure feasibility and deployment planning
-
Finance → pricing strategy and margins
-
Leadership → strategic bids and large accounts

Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Technical Understanding
-
Strong knowledge of:
-
Solar PV systems (design, O&M, thermography basics)
-
Wind or infrastructure inspection workflows, construction & erection workflows (preferred)
-

Understanding of:
-
Drone data (RGB, thermal, LiDAR) - would be an added advantage
-
Surveying / mapping / GIS fundamentals - would be an added advantage
-
Tools & Exposure (Good to Have)
-
AutoCAD / PVsyst / GIS platforms
-
Exposure to photogrammetry or LiDAR processing workflows
-
Familiarity with asset management or inspection platforms
Commercial & Execution Skills

Strong proposal writing and structured thinking
-
Ability to translate complex technical workflows into clear client value
-
High ownership, fast turnaround mindset (critical for Lesoko’s pace)
